About the Gala
Set against the sun-soaked charm of a Midcentury Palm Springs dream, the Never Give Up Gala brings retro glamour to a timeless cause. For nearly 30 years, this unforgettable evening has celebrated the strength of community in supporting vulnerable children, youth, and families. Guests are welcomed into a vibrant, elevated atmosphere where vintage elegance meets heartfelt purpose — featuring sponsor showcases, inspiring program stories, and bold new initiatives that help those we serve thrive. A stylish three-course dinner, lively silent and live auctions, personal reflections, and dancing to the music of the 60’s, make this a night to remember — all in the name of hope, healing, and never giving up.
Wood’s Homes is a mental health organization, serving children, young people and their families so they can thrive in their community. We offer over 40 programs across Alberta, ranging from campus-based, live-in services to in-home support for families whose children are facing mental health challenges. We also work hard to make sure counselling is accessible in our community. Through our Calgary Public Library Wellness Desks and the Eastside Community Mental Health Centre – we offer free crisis counselling. Eastside will even accommodate those seeking help through a chat or text, and provide counselling services in multiple languages.
