About the Gala
Step into the glow of the big city for this elegant evening as we shine a light on the life-changing mental health services provided by Wood’s Homes. The evening will feature live entertainment, exciting raffle opportunities, and both silent and live auctions. Attire for the event is black tie with a twist. Wood’s Homes is a mental health organization, serving children, young people and their families so they can thrive in their community. We offer over 40 programs across Alberta, ranging from campus-based, live-in services to in-home support for families whose children are facing mental health challenges. We also work hard to make sure counselling is accessible in our community. Through our Calgary Public Library Wellness Desks and the Eastside Community Mental Health Centre—we offer free crisis counselling. Eastside will even accommodate those seeking help through a chat or text, and provide counselling services in multiple languages.
