On November 7, join Wood’s Homes for a spectacular night as we shine a light on the life-changing mental health services that help young people find their way forward. Our City Lights & Guiding Stars gala will transport you into the heart of a vibrant city after dark — where the lights are bright, the possibilities are endless and every corner holds a little surprise.
From the moment you arrive, the evening will feel like you’ve been dropped right into the middle of the city. Wander through an atmosphere filled with music, lights and unexpected moments. Keep your eyes open for live entertainment, roaming performers, living statues, buskers and interactive activations that will bring the energy of the streets to life. There will be plenty of opportunities to explore, connect, play and capture the moment with fun and memorable photo experiences along the way.
Raise a glass with delicious cocktails and beverages, discover exciting raffle opportunities, and try your luck in our silent and live auctions, all while enjoying an evening designed to celebrate the incredible impact of Wood’s Homes.

5:30–7:00 PM | Cocktails & City Experiences
Sip, stroll and take in the entertainment, activations and surprises throughout the space.
7:00 PM | Dinner
Take your seats for an incredible dinner and an evening of stories, inspiration and impact.
9:00 PM | Live & Silent Auction
It’s time to raise your paddles and make an impact while competing for some incredible auction items.
10:00 PM | Dancing
The lights turn up and the dance floor opens. Stay late, celebrate and dance the night away.
Black Tie with a Twist
The evening is black tie, reimagined. Inspired by the sophistication of city nightlife and the enchantment of red carpet glamour, we invite guests to dress in bold, avant-garde pieces — rich textures, metallic accents, and unique details. Think about that one piece in your closet you’ve never had an occasion to wear: this is your chance.
This year’s gala lookbook is inspired by tones of the city: midnight blues and lush greens, shining bursts of bronze and silver, and pops of golden yellow. Starry sky or checkered patterns are a perfect touch. Black tie is the foundation, but your personal style is the twist!
